Craft Assurance / WARRANTY
Each piece is crafted in solid wood and finished by hand. We stand behind the craft for one year from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in joinery, structure, and finish.
Issues visible at the time of delivery, including transit damage or a wrong product, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with the unboxing video and photographs. Manufacturing defects that surface within the Craft Assurance period will be assessed through photographs and videos shared with us.
Coverage applies when the piece has been used in accordance with the Product Care instructions.
Craft Assurance does not extend to natural grain variation, seasonal wood movement, minor tone or dimensional variation inherent to handcrafted production, wear from daily use, or damage from outdoor placement, heat, sunlight, moisture, or non-residential use. Surface changes arising from regular use or environmental exposure are not considered defects. Hand-carved in solid wood. We stand behind the craft for one year from the date of delivery on both the lamp body and electrical components (wiring, switch, and bulb holder / integrated light, if any).
Issues visible at the time of delivery, including transit damage or a wrong product, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with the unboxing video and photographs. Manufacturing defects that surface within the Craft Assurance period will be assessed through photographs and videos shared with us. Coverage applies when the lamp has been used in accordance with the Product Care instructions, including use of a compatible bulb as specified, and without any modification to the electrical components.

Coverage applies when the piece has been kept indoors, away from moisture, and used in accordance with the Product Care instructions.
Craft Assurance does not extend to minor surface texture irregularities, slight colour gradation, small air pockets, or dimensional variation inherent to cotton mâché craft, nor to any damage resulting from outdoor placement, exposure to water or humidity, or use as a vessel for water, fruits, flowers, or any liquid or organic material. Material - CANVAS PRINT SURFACE, FRAMES (SYNTHETIC & SOLID WOOD)
FRAMED CANVAS PRINTS

Each print is produced on a 380 GSM canvas and framed by hand. We stand behind the craft for one year from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in the print, frame, and finish.
Issues visible at the time of delivery, including transit damage or a wrong product, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with the unboxing video and photographs.
Manufacturing defects that surface within the Craft Assurance period will be assessed through photographs and videos shared with us. Coverage applies when the print has been hung and kept indoors, away from direct sunlight and moisture, in accordance with the Product Care instructions.
Craft Assurance does not extend to subtle colour variation between the print and website photographs attributable to screen display, or to characteristics inherent to abstract art, including intentional distortion, non-uniform ink distribution, and absence of defined design boundaries — these are deliberate artistic choices, not defects. Material - Double cotton slub with Appliqué, embroidery, kantha embellishment

Craft Assurance
Each cover is made in natural cotton, with hand-finished detailing — appliqué, kantha, and hand embroidery. Because each piece is made by hand, it carries the natural character of its making: subtle tone variation from natural dye processes, slub variation in the weave, and minor differences in thread tension, density, or alignment in embroidery and appliqué are not imperfections — they are intrinsic to the craft.
If you receive a piece with visible damage, a manufacturing defect, or the wrong product, please write to us at hello@indiadesignhouse.com within 48 hours of delivery with your unboxing video and photographs. We will respond within 7 business days and, where warranted, arrange a replacement or refund.
Beyond the 48-hour window post delivery, we are unable to cover changes in the cushion cover arising from use, washing, or handling. Colour loss, distortion, minor shrinkage, or softening of hand-feel resulting from machine washing, hand washing, steaming, or any cleaning method other than professional dry-cleaning are not manufacturing defects.
