Product Story

Two looping appliqué forms sit in tension — connected, separate, and held in balance. The cushion carries the quality of the original artwork: two things that are distinct, yet inseparable.

Material(s):
· Cotton double slub, chosen for its soft handfeel and gently irregular texture.
· Dyed cotton corduroy, chosen for its tactile ribbed surface and rich tonal character.

Technique:
· Layered appliqué detailing
· Embroidery executed by hand.
Minor variations in stitch, texture, and motif placement are inherent and not considered defects.

Care

· For indoor residential use only.

· Professional dry clean only.

· Do not machine wash or hand wash.

· Do not bleach.

· Do not iron directly on appliqué, embroidery, or stitching — iron reverse side only.

· Store away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading over time.

· Minor shrinkage of up to 3–5% after first dry clean is a natural characteristic of cotton, not a defect.

· Slight softening of hand-feel and natural slub variation with use is expected and normal.

Craft Assurance

Each cover is made in natural cotton, with hand-finished detailing — appliqué, kantha, and hand embroidery. Because each piece is made by hand, it carries the natural character of its making: subtle tone variation from natural dye processes, slub variation in the weave, and minor differences in thread tension, density, or alignment in embroidery and appliqué are not imperfections — they are intrinsic to the craft.

If you receive a piece with visible damage, a manufacturing defect, or the wrong product, please write to us at hello@indiadesignhouse.com within 48 hours of delivery with your unboxing video and photographs. We will respond within 7 business days and, where warranted, arrange a replacement or refund.

Beyond the 48-hour window post delivery, we are unable to cover changes in the cushion cover arising from use, washing, or handling. Colour loss, distortion, minor shrinkage, or softening of hand-feel resulting from machine washing, hand washing, steaming, or any cleaning method other than professional dry-cleaning are not manufacturing defects.
