Dwaar Entryway Console Table

Dwaar is an entryway console table in solid wood, defined by three supports — two outer forms and a central column — holding a long, measured surface between them.

Its placement is specific. At the entry.

A threshold is crossed without thinking, but it is never neutral. It is where movement pauses, however briefly — where something is set down, or taken up, before the next part of the day begins.

Dwaar is built for that moment.

The outer forms hold the span. The central column anchors it. The surface remains spare — not for display, but for use. Keys, a bag, a small arrangement. Nothing more than what the moment requires.

Over time, this becomes familiar. Not noticed, but relied upon.

Dwaar stands at that point. Between arrival and departure.

Solid mango wood

Finish:
Smoked rosewood-stained wood columns with a matte protective finish. Top and base are finished in matte black.

Making:
Crafted and finished by hand by skilled artisans

Designed for transitional spaces — entries, hallways, the long wall a room opens onto. Best placed against a wall with one considered object or a small grouping. The form is complete on its own.
