Product StoryThere was a wooden toy animal — the kind that belongs to a specific summer, a specific shelf in a specific room. It disappeared, the way childhood objects do. Smriti does not recreate it literally. It abstracts the memory until only the essential remains: a body, a raised neck, an open arch at the base that creates the silhouette of an animal without illustrating one. The midnight finish removes any decorative reading. What you are left with is pure form — and, if you have a memory like it, recognition.

Each piece is individually crafted by hand. Slight variations in shape, surface, and finish, along with minor irregularities, are a natural part of the making process

· Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — colours will fade.
· Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Wipe in one direction.
· Do not use water, wet cloths, sprays, or chemical cleaners of any kind.
· This piece is delicate and not impact-resistant — handle with care.
· Where applicable (lids, flaps), open and close gently.
